Description Use
AmezTreat-9310 is a specially formulated product for use in steam raising plant. It is most suitable for large installation. AmezTreat-9310 provides rapid oxygen scavenging to minimize corrosion.

Treatment Dosage
AmezTreat-9310 is normally dosed so as to maintain 30-70 mg/l sulphite reserves in the boiler water. The optimum treatment level depends on conditions such as operating pressure and the chemical composition of the feed water. Dosage rates will be specified by us. The treatment should be injected continuously at the deaerator outlet or feed tank outlet. AmezTreat-9310 should be diluted with clean, cold water to suit the dosage pump employed.
AQUATREAT-9310 will absorb oxygen from the atmosphere and therefore no more than one day supply should be available in an open dilution tank. Dosage pumps and delivery lines in plastic are preferred, as AQUATREAT-9310, in concentrated form, is corrosive to mild steel.

Potential Hazards
Irritating to eyes and skin. Contact with acids liberates toxic, irritating gas (Sulphur dioxide)
Spill Procedures
Flush to drain with adequate dilution with water. This product will increase Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
Productive Equipment
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves (rubber) and eye/face protection.
Handling Storage
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not take internally. In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water. Remove any contaminated clothing. Seek immediate medical attention In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek immediate e medical attention. In case of ingestion wash mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water. DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention. Wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate. Avoid extremes of temperature. Replace caps securely after use.
