Description Use
AmezTreat-9076 is a scale and sludge inhibitor, designed primarily for steam boilers. It is used to prevent the build-up of hardness deposits and/or iron and other metallic oxides, originating from corrosion of condensate systems. AmezTreat-9076 is based on a synergistic blend of dispersant and scale inhibitor.

Treatment Dosage
AmezTreat-9076 is normally maintained at concentrations between 100 and 500 mg/l in the boiler water. The correct treatment level for deposit prevention depends on operating conditions such as pH and the number of concentrations. The optimum treatment level for any plant will be specified by us.
The viscosity of AmezTreat-9076 allows it to be handled by conventional dosing pumps, without dilution, but it may be diluted if desired. AmezTreat-9076 is not corrosive to mild steel mixing tanks or dosage pumps in concentrated or in diluted form and may be pumped directly from the container using equipment in steel or plastic.

Potential Hazards
This product is not considered to be hazardous, but as with all industrial chemicals care should be exercised during its use.
Spill Procedures
Spill may be flushed to drain with copious amount of water. Local regulations should be observed and the relevant authorities should be consulted before disposing of large spills.
Handling Storage
Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid extremes of temperature. Replace caps securely after use. In case of contact with skin wash well with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes wash immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. If any irritation persists, seek medical attention. In case of ingestion wash out mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water. Do NOT induce vomiting. If any discomfort persists, seek medical attention.
A Recommended maximum storage limit is 2 years.
