Description Use
AmezTreat-8585 is a single blend designed for corrosion and scale protection in evaporative re-circulatory cooling water systems. It is based on phosphonates and contains both cathodic and anodic corrosion inhibitors for complete protection of steel based metallurgy. The dispersants incorporated in AmezTreat-8585 help in maintaining clean heat transfer surfaces.

Treatment Dosage
AmezTreat-8585 is a comprehensive single treatment product for the prevention of corrosion, scale and fouling in systems with low to moderate hardness water in circulation. It is particularly suited to systems with low retention. The corrosion inhibitors in AmezTreat 8585 form a thin protective film on the heat transfer surfaces. The antiscalants component in AmezTreat 8585 provides excellent inhibition of calcium and magnesium salts. The synthetic dispersants help keep the heat transfer surfaces clean and affords optimum heat transfer efficiency. AmezTreat 8585 is suitable for operation in a wide range of pH from 7.0 to 8.5. Proper treatment level depends on factors like corrosion and fouling load, temperatures encountered in the system, water characteristics and other system dynamics. Handling Storage
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. Incase of contact with eyes, flush with ample water and get prompt medical attention. Gloves and goggles should be used where appropriate. AmezTreat-8585 containers should be stored airtight under shade and away from direct sunlight.
