Description Use
AmezTreat-5565 is an effective single drum blend designed for the control of corrosion, scaling and fouling in open evaporative re-circulating cooling water systems. It contains both cathodic and anodic corrosion inhibitors besides antiscalants and dispersants. It is effective in systems having moderately hard water. The corrosion inhibitor in AmezTreat 5565 forms a protective film on the metal surface. The antiscaling component provides excellent inhibition of scalants like calcium and magnesium salts. The dispersant incorporated in AmezTreat-5565 prevents the accumulation of silt, clay, corrosion products etc.

It is complete single treatment for corrosion and scale control in open re-circulatory system having water of moderate hardness. It exhibits excellent corrosion protection by formation of a film on steel surfaces. Its regular use helps in retaining higher levels of hardness in water and enables operation of the system at higher cycles of concentration. The heat transfer surfaces are maintained clean and permit optimum heat exchange efficiency. Water treated with AmezTreat-5565 is safe to discharge in effluent. It is effective in a wide range of pH and temperature. The product being liquid is easy to handle.Feed rate of AmezTreat-5565 depends upon the water characteristics and other system specifics. Handling Storage
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with eyes, flush with ample water and get prompt medical attention. Gloves and goggles should be used where appropriate.AmezTreat-5565 containers should be stored airtight under shade and away from direct sunlight.
