Description Use
AmezTreat-2725 is a nitrite-borate, scale cum corrosion inhibitor designed for use in closed re-circulation systems. It affords corrosion protection for multimetal systems.AmezTreat-2725 is non-toxic at the recommended use levels. Thus, water treated with AmezTreat-2725 can be discharged directly into the effluent stream. AmezTreat-2725 is compatible with ethylene glycol.

Treatment Dosage
AmezTreat-2725 is used in closed loop-cooling system where the water losses are small and the system does not require regular fresh water make-up. It performs best in systems where air and oxygen ingress is minimal. The product performs effectively over a wide pH range and pH correction is therefore not necessary. However, pH should not be allowed to fall below 6.0. The product also passivates the system already corroded. AmezTreat-2725 being liquid is easy to handle.Proper dosage depends upon water characteristics and other system specifics. The dosing will be based on total volume of water in the system. Higher dosage is required for corrosive water like D.M. water or desalinated water.
Our representative will help you in optimizing the dosages. Generally a dose rate of 1500 to 2500 is found to be adequate. It is always preferable to apply the product on clean surfaces for best results.
NOTE:No chlorination or oxidizing biocides should be used with AmezTreat-2725. Adequate reserve of nitrite should always be maintained in the system. AmezTreat-2725 can be fed directly from the container to a point where proper mixing can be ensured.
Handling Storage
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. In case of contact with eyes, flush with ample water and get prompt medical attention. Gloves and goggles should be used where appropriate.
AmezTreat-2725 containers should be stored airtight under shade and away from direct sunlight.
